My name is Dr. Désirée Schaumburg, M.D., and I was born in Berlin in 1991. After completing my medical studies at Charité University Hospital in Berlin, I worked as a physician at Charité University Hospital from 2017 to 2020, specifically in the Department of Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology.
Here, I conducted my research on early childhood trauma, mental illness, and their links to rheumatic diseases.
I began my doctoral studies in this field back in 2014, thereby laying the foundation for my current work as a holistic physician.
Gabriele Lenz

My name is Gaby Lenz; I was born in Berlin in 1962.
After working as a civil servant in the public sector, I decided to follow my heart.
I’ve always wanted to work in the medical field and be close to people. That’s why I’m now taking the plunge and starting over as a medical assistant at this practice. However, I had already worked as a medical assistant before my time in the civil service.
Maintaining direct contact with you is especially important to me. I want you to feel that you’re in good hands and understood from the very first moment you’re with us. Listening attentively, showing empathy, and offering a friendly smile are very important to me.
I am very much looking forward to my new responsibilities on the team and, in particular, to welcoming you in person at our practice soon!

My name is Heike Vollperg; I was born in Paderborn in 1962.
I come from the field of internal medicine, where I worked for many years as a medical assistant.
For me personally, it’s very important to make patients feel that they’re welcome here and that they’re taken seriously!
